In January 2022, our lives changed forever. With a 6 week baby at home, we took our older son for a pediatrician appointment to see why he was constantly peeing through all of his diapers. A quick finger stick at the office, and we were sent to the children’s ER to start our new journey as Type 1 Diabetes parents.
Our Type 1 son does not let anything stop him, he does everything the other kids do and he knows that he is stronger because of it.
